Kinneret, Dead Sea Dwindle

The water level in Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee) went down 32 centimeters/12.6 inches in August, according to the Water Authority. The new level of Israel's largest freshwater source is below the lower red line, approaching the black line, under which it will not be safe to draw water.

The Dead Sea's water level went down 16 centimeters/6.3 inches, during the month.
