Hurricane “Irene” may have said goodnight, but hot on her heels is “Katya”, a tropical storm raging in the Atlantic Ocean that may well develop into a hurricane.
If that occurs, workers in the oil rigs in Mexico Bay will probably be evacuated.
At this point, Katya’s winds are moving at a rate of 110 km/hr (appr. 69 mph).
