Danon Gets Support from South Sudan

Member of Knesset Danny Danon (Likud) is scheduled to meet, on Tuesday, in the Republic of South Sudan with repatriated residents of the new country who had infiltrated Israel and worked here, according to the Sudan Tribune. Following a request from South Sudan President Salva Kiir, Dana will discuss ways of streamlining the repatriation process after the infiltrators receive vocational training in Israel.

On Monday, Danon received a statement of support from the country's foreign minister regarding the scheduled attempt by the Palestinian Authority (PA) to apply to the United Nations as a sovereign state in about a month. Deng Alor Koul said, "South Sudan supports Israel and backs it, ahead of the U.N. declaration in September."
