Doctors Sign Collective Bargaining Agreement

Representatives of the Finance Ministry and the Israel Medical Federation signed a collective bargaining agreement, Thursday evening in Tel Aviv, bringing 158 days of doctor sanctions to and end. The agreement was reached following nine days of mediation.

Under the agreement salaries will rise, duty shifts in hospitals will be reduced and 1,000 more positions will be created.
