No violence against Israel is to be expected in September, according to RIad Al Maliki, who is in charge of the Foreign Affairs portfolio in the Palestinian Authority.
The PA Arabs will maintain law and order, he added.
Al Maliki said the PA wanted recognition as a state. If Israel, the US and the EU fail to offer such recognition, the PA will have no choice but to ask the UN to intervene.
