Former MK Tzvi Hendel tells Arutz Sheva that Ronny Bar-On – current Kadima MK – admitted to him he voted for the Disengagement he opposed in return for portfolio.
After two ministers were sacked from the Sharon government, Ronny Bar-On was to be appointed minister, and Hendel voted against the appointment. Hendel says: "We were smoking behind the plenum and I said to him – 'it's just politics, it's not a personal vote against you,' He told me: 'You are apologizing to me? I am ashamed to look you in the eyes. I voted against my opinion and belief for this portfolio.'"
