Gamzu to Doctors: You're Beginning to Exaggerate

Executive Director Ronnie Gamzu of the Health Ministry sent a letter to members of the Israel Medical Federation, Thursday evening, calling on them to stop sanctions as they meet with representatives of the ministry and the Treasury on a new collective-bargaining agreement. The sanctions have continued for 145 days.

In his letter, Gamzu called the resignations of residents an exaggeration, adding that the time has come to withdraw the letters and back federation leaders in order to end the crisis. He ended by saying, "The residents of Israel are waiting."
