5 Arrested in Amidar Protest

Police on Sunday arrested five protestors who had blocked the entrance to the headquarters of Amidar, the government-affiliated organization that provides public housing for needy Israelis. Dozens of protesters had gathered at the Amidar building in Safra Square demanding that the company provide them with apartments.

The five were taken into custody for sitting down in front of the building's entrance and preventing workers from entering.
