Rioting Arabs threw stones at IDF soldiers at the village  of Wallaje north of Bethlehem. Troops used anti-riot tactics to break up the crowd. The rioters were protesting construction of the security fence in the area.

Six rioters, three of them Israelis, were arrested. One of the detainees was a local Arab, and the other two were foreign anarchists.
