The Palestinian Authority is continuing its bid for control of much of Jerusalem, this time by investing $4.5 million in Arab schools in the capital. PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad signed off on the project Tuesday, according to Wafa.
The PA has previously denied the Jewish connection
to Jerusalem, sent its officers
to police the capital, and urged Arabs to build illegally
in the city in order to establish new facts on the ground. A PA minister recently threatened war
if Jerusalem were not given to the PA as the capital of a new Arab state.
