Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke out on the boycott bill
on Wednesday evening, reporting that his party “really doesn't like” the new law. He also expressed opposition to the establishment of a parliamentary committee of inquiry to look into far-left groups thought to be funded by European governments.
Barak stated opposition to a proposal to have a Knesset committee screen Supreme Court candidates as well. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has also said he opposes the bill.
