Security Council to Discuss Syria's Nuclear Activities

The UN Security Council plans to meet next week to discuss Syria’s refusal to co-operate with an investigation of its alleged secret nuclear activities, diplomats told The Associated Press on Monday.

The move comes several weeks after the International Atomic Energy Agency referred the issue to the council. According to AP, the closed session could result in anything from debate to sanctions of the kind imposed on Iran.
