      Boycott Works, Tnuva Lowers Prices

The dairy giant Tnuva has lowered the price of cottage cheese in response to a consumer boycott. The cheese will now be sold to grocery stores at 4.55 shekels a unit instead of 5.20, allowing customers to buy it for 5.90 shekels.

Customers had declared a widespread boycott on cottage cheese after Tnuva and other dairy companies raised the prices simultaneously, leading to prices of over 7 shekels per unit for the cheese. The price of other dairy products was raised as well.
