The cottage cheese price increase due to the removal of government price control has caused 44% of the cheese consumers to purchase less cottage cheese. The figures are presented in a Consumer Federation Authority poll, from earlier this month. The reduced consumption has taken place even before the massive facebook protest against the price increase.
