Public Backs Bibi on '67 Lines'

Seventy percent of the Israeli public thinks Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu did the right thing in openly expressing disagreement with United States President Barack Obama regarding the use of the “1967 lines” as a basis for talks with the Palestinian Authority. Twenty-two percent think Netanyahu was wrong.

The poll, conducted by Dachaf for the Knesset channel, also found that 49% of the public is opposed to basing the borders of a PA state on the 1949 armistice line with land swaps, while 42% is in favor.
