Senior U.S. officials told reporters Monday that DNA testing on the body of the eliminated terrorist had confirmed with 99.99% certainty that it was Osama Bin-Laden who had been killed in the U.S. strike in Pakistan. Facial identification technology was also used, the officials said, indicating a 95% match. In addition, Bin-Laden was positively identified by another individual resident in the compound in Pakistan when U.S. forces attacked it, killing Bin-Laden.
