The Ministerial Committee on Legislation unanimously endorsed a measure on Sunday that would require banks to use larger print in bank statements for senior citizens.
The bill is scheduled for its first reading in the Knesset on Wednesday. The ministers decided that the matter will be coordinated with the Bank of Israel, which has opposed such a move, based on the added expense.
