Bedouin Riot in Negev

Bedouin Arabs were rioting Thursday morning in the illegal village of El-Arakib in the Negev. The riot began when residents and outside inciters attempted to prevent Jewish National Fund workers from tending to forested areas that the villagers have been trying to usurp.

Police were trying to keep order and put down the riot. One woman was injured lightly in the incident. Three rioters were arrested.
