More than 2,000 members of the Ariel religious youth movement planted trees in the Armon Hanatziv Forest near the Jerusalem neighborhood of Nof Zion as an observation of the Tu B'Shvat New Year for the trees on Thursday.
Ariel Director-General Yossi Vardi told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service that the movement "sees a direct connection between itself and the strengthening of Jerusalem." He said the planting makes the point that, "Jerusalem will stay ours forever."
