Kadima MK Shai Hermesh, a kibbutz member and former Labor Party member, responded this morning to the split of the Labor party, "There is no joy, the house has collapsed and the kibbutz movement finds itself on the street. Barak thinks only of himself and Noked will be forever remembered as one who destroyed those who brought her to power."
Meanwhile Labor MK and former faction head Eitan Cabel said that, "these MKs have decided to destroy the party" by making the move. Labor MK Ben-Simon also said that this was the end of the Labor party.
