Hizbullah terrorist leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said Sunday that the indictments due out Monday on the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri are "political" and "aimed at hurting Lebanon." He said that 11 Hizbullah ministers and their allies quit the cabinet last week because Hariri's son Sa'ad, the current prime minister, backed out of supporting an agreement to stop contact with the international tribunal investigating the murder.

Nasrallah said that agreement included withdrawing Lebanese judges and funding from the investigation, as well as cancelling the agreement between Lebanon and the International Court of Justice. He said Sa'ad Hariri pulled out of the agreement suddenly, during his visit to the United States which, along with Israel, opposed these steps.
