The Education Ministry said on Monday that the cessation of support for the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in Yitzhar was decided upon following inspections committed at the yeshiva which determined that the number of students attending the yeshiva is lower than the number reported to the Ministry.

The Ministry added that the yeshiva also did not allow Ministry of Education inspectors to re-enter the building for a repeat inspection.
