In its annual report on customer satisfaction, the Israel Consumers Union said that Israelis complained more about cell phone service providers than about any other service or product. One third of all complaints filed by consumers were against communications companies, including Bezeq, the various cell phone service providers, ISPs, cable and satellite TV companies, and others. Of all complaints, 15% were lodged against cell phone service providers.
Most of the complaints centered on promises that were broken by companies, with customers getting different conditions than they had been led to believe they would get by salespeople. In addition, many complaints centered on products that were not delivered and services that were not provided at all, and unreasonably high service cancellation fees.
