Katsav Plaintiffs Cannot Attend Verdict Reading

The plaintiffs in the trial of President Moshe Katsav will not be permitted to appear in the courtroom when a verdict is given in his case on Thursday. The state rejected the request by Katsav's accusers that they be permitted to be present at the reading of the verdict, which is to be open to the press. The court said that the request “did not fit the proper criteria of the court.”
