Arab Agricultural Vandalism in Samaria

A complaint was filed with police Monday after people believed to be Arabs from the neighboring village of Brukin uprooted more than 150 almond, avocado and olive trees and stole them before dawn from the Barkan groves in Samaria. Other trees were destroyed, their branches cut and trunks damages.

Grove owner Yitzchak Shemesh said it was the third such theft and put the damage in the tens of thousands of shekels. He said the thieves should know that despite their efforts to scare the Jews fo the area, they would continue to grow produce.
