Logan's Body Transferred to Abu Kabir

The body of Christine Logan was transferred to the Abu Kabir Forensics Center Sunday morning for an autopsy. Police are continuing to investigate Logan's murder at the hand of two Arabs in the Mata forest near Beit Shemesh Saturday, and have forbidden publication of any details relating to the case. Logan was found early Sunday a few meters off the Mata-Beit Shemesh road, bound and stabbed to death.  Logan was a United States citizen who was planning to make aliyah in the coming days, officials said.

Army Radio quoted a Jewish National Fund worker who interviewed Susan Kay Wilson of Givat Ze'ev, who was found stabbed on Saturday afternoon by hikers, and who told police that she and Logan had been attacked by two Arabs. The worker said that she said that she had pretended to be dead while she heard the Arabs attacking Logan, and only thus was she able to survive.
