Opposition leader, Tzipi Livni, called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to resign following the Carmel fire disaster.

"In a normal country, the State Comptroller’s report would have been enough for those responsible to pay the price. Its called resignation, and responsibility starts from the top. It's just part of the dramatic revision that the entire system must undergo. And now we know it will not happen," said Livni at the local government conference in Herzliya.
