On the sixth anniversary of the death of Yasser Arafat, the terrorist's chief bodyguard said in an interview that Arafat did not die from food poisoning – by Israel or anyone else - as the PA has charged for years. The bodyguard, Imad Abu-Zaki, said that “I ate what he ate a half our or so before he ate it. I reject the charges that his food was poisoned, because we bodyguards never let him eat alone,” or without tasting his food first.

Abu-Zaki made the comments in the Arab Al-Hayat newspaper.
