Firebomb Thrown at Jewish Home in Abu Tor

A firebomb was thrown on the terrace of a Jewish home in the Abu Tor neighborhood of Jerusalem on Tuesday night. The bomb did not ignite, and no one was injured. The bomb was successfully removed by security officers. A neighbor told Arutz 7 that the firebomb was thrown from an illegally constructed Arab building next door. So far, nothing has been done to remove the illegal structure, the neighbor said.

The neighbor added that this was not the first time the Jewish building was attacked by area Arabs. Three firebombs were thrown at the building several months ago, she said, and in that attack the bombs did go off – and burned down a tall tree in the building's yard. A second incident occurred about a month ago, with the bomb failing to ignite, and Tuesday's incident makes three attacks in a period of about 5 months.
