100 Jewish Worshipers Visit Joseph's Tomb in Shchem

About 100 Jewish worshipers visited overnight at Joseph's Tomb compound in Shchem. A similar visit took place last week. The visit was coordinated by the IDF who reported that there were no unusual incidents.

Joseph's Tomb is located on the edge of the large Palestinian Authority controlled city of Shchem and has been the site of incidents in the past. It was ransacked by terrorists after it was turned over to PA control in 2000. Over the years Jewish worshipers snuck into the site. The IDF has been helping organize visits in the past year. Joseph's Tomb is the traditional burial place of the Biblical patriarch Joseph.
