Amnesty International welcomed on Wednesday the government's decision to withdraw the bill to prevent illegal infiltration into the country. Amnesty personally congratulated Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak for the decision.
The Government Secretariat withdrew the bill after the Defense Ministry decided to removethe bill from the Knesset's schedule.
