Despite the implementation of a new tax on bio-diesel, the Infrastructures Ministry said Tuesday night that it supported use of the fuel. Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau said he saw greater adoption of bio-diesel as a national interest. Greater use of bio-diesel worldwide will reduce the use of oil supplied by anti-Western and anti-Israel Islamic countries, the Ministry quoted Landau as saying.
