Speaking at a press conference, Member of Knesset Tzahi Hanegbi (Kadima) seemed to reject suggestions that he resign from the Knesset after his conviction on perjury Tuesday morning.

"The legislators decided what the norms are, that the court can make an MK quit [politics] for seven years if there is moral turpitude," Hanegbi told reporters. He continued, "There are some who say the public should decide, not three judges."
