U.S. Schools Compete for Israeli Business Students

The number of American institutions of higher learning taking part in the United States-Israel Education Fund's sixth annual MBA gathering in Tel Aviv next week is growing. Organizers of the event say political events have not reduced the demand to recruit Israeli students.

Four major business chools are also going directly to the students before the gathering via an internet panel to recruit Israeli students. The University of North Carolina, for example, has decided to offer 2-3 full scholarships to Israeli students, according to the fund's Galit Edsman, who says that Israeli students have proven themselves, both academicly and socially.
