Israeli tennis pro Shahar Pe'er has climbed into the second round of the Paris Tournament. Pe'er, ranked 22nd in the world, beat 65th ranked French tennis pro Elize Corne 4:6, 1:6.
The 22 year old tennis star was greeted by anti-Israel posters, some depicting her personally, while playing in Australia and New Zealand. According to an interview in YNet News, she said the more anti-Israel rhetoric she hears, the better she plays. She said the protesters are clueless and didn't even know about the daily rocket attacks from Hamas on Israel.
