MK Schneller: 'Haniyeh Invited if He Gives Up Terror'

Commenting on a speech made to an Israeli Arab crowd demonstrating against Israel's defensive actions in last year's Operation Cast Lead by Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh, that he would soon meet Israeli Arabs "at the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, which will continue to be Arab and Islamic," Kadima MK Otniel Schneller said that Haniyeh was invited to visit Jerusalem – on condition that he cease terror activity against Israel.

"Haniyeh's desire to visit united Jerusalem, Israel's capital, and to visit the Al Aqsa Mosque, as part of Israel's policy of giving free access to all who wish to visit holy places, will be fulfilled only after he stops his role of heading a terrorist group," Schneller said.
