Former rabbi Shilo of the Samarian Jewish community of Kedumim recently discovered an announcement written on high-quality paper to destroy the trees of Arabs. A serious look at the halachic (Jewish legal) sources justifying the actions showed that the author was not an expert in the depths of the law.

Interviewed on Arutz Sheva's Hebrew news journal, Rabbi Shilo expressed concern that youngsters would take the documents at face value and issued a warning against accepting them. He also wrote a response to the question that declared the announcement to be a provocation.
