Members of the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home - New National Religious Party) Knesset faction are scheduled to visit the Judean Jewish community of Efrat on Monday for input on the freeze on construction in the community demanded by the international community, led by the United States.
Local council chairman Oded Revivi will give the delegation a review of the community's building and expansion plans, which have been frozen in spite of prior approval. He will also show them the Zayit (Olive) neighborhood in the middle of the community, where the Housing Ministry has done millions of shekels worth of comprehensive development work, although no construction permits have been issued. The faction will also visit the Dagan (Wheat) hill, which overlooks Eitam (Sea Eagle) Hill, where grass-roots development is taking place.
