MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) said that President Shimon Peres had no business calling for immediate talks with Syria's Basher Assad. Peres made the call in a speech in Brazil Tuesday. Ben-Ari said he would demand Peres' resignation as President.
Peres, he said, "is an unrepentant sneak who keeps attempting to circumvent the will of the voter. Peres must remember that the people of Israel rejected him as Prime Minister," Ben-Ari added.
