Neturei Karta Joins Muslim Protest Against Israel

Members of the anti-Zionist haredi sect, Neturei Karta, joined Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement in Israel, at a protest tent erected on the roof of a building in Wadi Joz located some 150 meters from Jerusalem’s Old City. Salah has been banned from Jerusalem for 30 days for inciting Arab riots in the capital by spreading rumors that Jews planned to blow up the Al-Aqsa mosque.

During the visit, Rabbi Hirsch, a Neturei Karta leader, said that the group considered themselves"Palestinians" and that they "do not recognize the legitimacy of the State of Israel." He also agreed with Salach that Israel was planning to damage the Al Aqsa mosque.
