Chief of Staff Meets Chief of UNIFIL

(IsraelNN.com) Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) met Monday with Italian general Claudio Graziano, commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at Ashkenazi's headquarters in Tel Aviv.
According to an IDF statement, the two discussed the security situation in Israel's north and implementation of Security Council resolution 1701, which ended the Second Lebanon War in 2006, as well as recent events in the area where UNIFIL operates. No further details were released.
