The Nazareth District Court on Monday extended by half a year the solitary confinement of Yigal Amir, the convicted assassin of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin.
Amir has been isolated ever since the conviction. That was supposed to end in July but the state asked for an extension, claiming that he is spreading his ideology.
On August 8th, Amir petitioned the court to be transferred to the religious wing of the Ayalon Prison.
