An 82-year-old Holocaust survivor will testify against 89-year-old John Demjanjuk, suspected of being an SS guard and having participated in the murder of 27,000 people in several Nazi death camps during World War II.  The war crimes trial is slated to take place in Germany beginning in mid-October.

Kurt Gutmann was on the "Kinder Transport" that brought Jewish children to Britain during the war, out of the reach of the Nazi murderers. Demjanjuk, extradited from the United States several months ago after years of struggling to escape deportation, is being held without bail in Munich.
