The funeral of IDF Sgt. Uriel Peretz Liwerant is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the military cemetery in Jerusalem's Mt. Herzl, where he will be laid to rest.

Librant, a resident of Efrat whose family made aliyah from the United States, was killed early Tuesday morning in a military training accident.
