The United States is planning to hold an international peace conference on the Middle East in two months, according to a Tuesday report in the Dubai-based newspaper Al-Khaleej.
The report cites a senior State Department official who says the U.S. will examine proposals brought by Defense Minister Ehud Barak during his current visit to Washington and then invite the sides for visits before the conference.
