Haredi protests in Jerusalem continued Sunday night as demonstrators burned several trash containers throughout the city. Firefighting forces fought the fires under heavy police protection.

On Sunday, Haredim continued protests as police considered charges against several demonstrators who were arrested on Saturday. Protests have rocked the capital city since mayor Nir Barkat decided to open two controversial parking lots on the Sabbath.
