Israelis were satisfied with health coverage providers and their service in 2008 but fear that the level of quality will drop in the upcoming year, according to a recent survey from Haifa University’s School of Public Health. Close to 80 percent were either satisfied or very satisfied with their health coverage provider.
A closer look at the survey revealed that 35 percent of religious participants reported high satisfaction, while only 9 percent among secular Israelis and 8.6 percent of traditional Israelis responded similarly. In comparison to health services around the world, 38 percent said the level of quality in Israel was on par. Upwards of 22.4 percents said they felt Israel’s services were better than the majority found in the world, while 6 percent believed it was the best.
