Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's remarks on Sunday that he is behind whatever decision "the Palestinians" make about their destiny does not mean that he recognizes Israel or agrees with the "vision of two states" between the Mediterranean Sea and the River Jordan, according to Iranian website Asar-i. Ahmadinejad was interviewed by George Stephanopoulos of the American Broadcasting Company.

The website says the decision would be made by all the Arabs in the world who can trace their roots to the region and not just those that live in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
