Israeli commando forces from the naval Shayetet unit took part in the Israeli attack in Sudan against an arms convoy destined for Gaza, a U.S. source told the Yediot Acharonot newspaper on Wednesday. According to the report, the forces destroyed an arms carrying ship docked in Sudan.

CBS and ABC News first reported on the attack several weeks ago, claiming that Israeli warplanes destroyed a Sudanese convoy of 23 trucks carrying weapons destined for Hamas. Some sources said that UAVs took part in the attack.
