Two mortar shells hit southern Israel Friday night, one near Kissufim, and one in the Gevim region. No injuries or damage were reported in either attack. Earlier Friday night, a mortar shell aimed for Israel fell short of its target and hit an area inside Gaza, near the Kissufim crossing.

Also Friday night, a Kassam rocket fired at Israel hit a house in Gaza, in an area east of Khan Yunis instead. The rocket caused heavy damage to the house, but no one was injured, residents told reporters. The IDF said it had no information on the incident.
